A Destination wedding can be a big undertaking, with so many variables to consider. Our experienced team will help you navigate the entire process from scouting the perfect location to curating an outstanding team of quality vendors, travel guidance and so much more. Texas Planning Experience
Starting at hire. Tailor-made luxury wedding planning and event management services. All aspects of your wedding planning are handled by our team from sourcing the perfect venue to curating an outstanding team of quality vendors and delivering a custom design celebration. This includes unlimited phone and email communication, in-person meetings with your planner, design conceptualization, and so much more.
Design Concept Experience

Starting at hire. Our luxury wedding design experience is for the couple who has a visual concept but needs support in finding direction to create and execute the overall vision for their wedding. We work with you on everything from selecting a color palette to creating a floor plan, design mood boards, choosing linens and other rentals, imagining floral designs and even developing branding and personalization for invitation and other stationery needs. Collaborating together is the creative force to developing a cohesive feel and the visual concepts and ideas for an event.

Virtual Planning Experience
Starting at hire. Ready to have someone to guide you and walk through you through the process to prepare you to tie the knot (without getting tied into knots)? Thanks to a professional planner on your side, we know that hiring a Full-Service planner doesn’t fit every couple’s needs or budgets. During this 6-month virtual package, you’ll have 2 calls with the SQC team a month, plus email support between calls.
Event
Management
Starting 8 weeks prior. Day of coordination or month-of – it’s all the same, event management. You’ve booked all of your vendors, you’ve got the design under control, but you need help executing your day. This includes final site-visits, a custom detailed wedding timeline creation, confirming final logistical details and providing helpful reminders for a seamless celebration.

She catered to my more personal requests in that she made sure my husband and I ate at each event, stayed hydrated, all while balancing the needs of our several vendors. Statistics show that the average a wedding takes approximately 250 hours to plan for a Ceremony & Reception (1-day event). Multicultural and multi-day events require more planning time and organizational skills. Sobi Qazi can save you time spent researching and planning. Sobi can also help you prioritize your vendors, get your budget in order, provide qualified and reputable vendor referrals, accompany you to vendor meetings and know what questions to ask, review vendor contracts, negotiate on your behalf, and save you money.

Not to mention, Sobi provides creative décor and design ideas. And the final months prior to your wedding, she will confirm your vendors, make a timeline, run your rehearsal, and be there to make sure that you, your family, and guests enjoy a stress-free day!

We highly recommend you hire a Planner 9-12 months for our Full Planning Experience. As soon as you get engaged is the best time! Dates are booked well in advance and the sooner we begin planning, the better options you have for venues. For our Event Management Experience, we recommend hiring us 4-6 months prior to your wedding date.

SQ Consultancy (DBA: SOBI QAZI) was established in 2009. Sobi Qazi has over 12+ years of experience planning weddings and events. She attends professional wedding and special event association meetings and conferences, gaining education and knowledge about current industry trends. She is also an Certified Wedding and Event Planners (CWEP) and a known Award-Winning Planner in her industry. Also, the company carries insurance to protect themselves and associates.

As much or as little you want them to have! Your planner’s level of involvement depends on the event planning package you reserve and your personal preferences. Personally, each one of us loves to be hands-on and heavily involved. We work with clients anywhere on the spectrum personalizing our service to your needs.

By choice, Sobi Qazi plans approximately 12-15 weddings and events per year. We typically plan no more than two weddings per month, and no more than one wedding per weekend. We are firm believers in not over-committing ourselves, so we control our workloads in order to give our clients the upmost attention they deserve!
Yes, we can! In fact, most of our clients live all over the world. So we are very comfortable with out-of-city/state/country clients and communicating via phone, e-mail, video conference and can be flexible with your schedule too. We will also travel to our clients if need be.

We will absolutely work with your choice of vendors. However we have a great team of preferred vendors that we work with often should you be interested in our recommendations. The reputable relationship we build with our preferred vendors goes a long way for your big day!
